-Provide high level advice to management within the Institute and support to professional and academic staff on HR policies and procedures, including recruitment and selection, on-boarding, job classification and conditions of employment;-Manage the recruitment and selection process for all Institute positions including the preparation of advertisements and position descriptions; assist hiring managers with utilising UQJobs; serve as a member of selection committees; organise employment contracts and induction of new staff members;-Review and provide advice regarding requests for position evaluation and classification;-Oversee and approve the information entered into the Human Resources Information System (HRIS)-Manage more complex queries and issues escalated from the HR Assistants;-In collaboration with the Human Resources Manager and Employee Relations, assist managers and staff to resolve industrial issues, including performance management in accordance with the University of Queensland Enterprise Agreement and supporting University policies;-Manage the AIBN academic promotion process and coordinate staff development opportunities for both academic and professional staff to ensure staff meet mandatory UQ training requirements;-Monitor the appraisal schemes for academic and professional staff within AIBN ensuring staff are equipped to meet position requirements;-Provide relevant reports to Managers, as required;-Assist the Human Resources Manager with local HR initiatives;-Document and maintain local HR administrative procedures and guidelines.

This role includes:Personal interaction with personnel of English speaking and non-english speaking backgrounds with the use of an interpreter, De-briefing (interviewing) personnel in order to collect information of intelligence value,Produce detailed and complex report writing,Seamlessly integrate with Other Government Agencies (OGAs),Operate independently and within a small team environment,The use of specialist skills in order to maintain the integrity of the agency and to remain discreet within a complex environment,Handle Classified information,Train, Mentor and Advise colleagues on processes and procedures regulated in accordance with Australian Legislation,Influence key stakeholders in order to achieve directed outcomes,Maintain cohesion and workplace integrity including conflict resolution,Manage personnel and understand the roles and responsibilities of my supervisor.Instruct on internally focussed conduct after capture for deploying forces. Communications specialist

In 2017, I organised and developed the Flood Appeal ROCK THE RIVERS for the flood victims of Lismore, NNSW. I organised all facets of the show including but not limited to: security, artist liaison (including Phil Jamieson, Custard, Butterfingers, Diana Anaid, Regurgitator and many more), artist scheduling, artist requests and management liaison, venue requests and liaison, ticketing, sponsorship organisation and many other requirements in order to raise money for the Red Cross. This was executed efficiently and effectively without any interruptions.There are many Not for Profit events that I have been apart of or created for the interest of good will. In 2015, I took over the management of East Coast Band, A Somerset Parade. The roles included: liaison with other artists, booking agents and venue management. Each show A Somerset Parade has been a part of, has been successfully executed without any disruption to the band's requirements. In 2018, I also organised and tour managed an international tour which saw them play from Austria to Ukraine and back.In 2016, I assisted in the organisation of the "Man Cave" exhibition held at the Brisbane convention centre. The roles were various and flexible with the ability to adapt to and pre-empt any potential issues before they arose.For 2012 and 2013 I was a part of the SPRUNGFEST team in 2012 and 2013 as the Artist Liaison Officer. This role included meeting and chaperoning the artists from the set down area to their stages whilst also providing technical support and security through the use of radios and directing security tasking for artist safety.
