Having being given the opportunity to buy in to the company, I took on the full responsibility of MD. Working in a difficult market and with a company carrying debts, I looked to expand on non-print based revenue streams to maximise the profitability of the two brands – Superbike and Loaded magazines.

• An international special-interest magazine publisher with many well-known brands. As part of the Senior Management Team, reporting into the CEO, my role is responsible for all print and production facilities.
• Management of structure and logistics of company alongside CEO;
• Responsible for the editorial teams of all publications, including budgets, staff, circulation liaison, content management, cover sign-off, etc;
• Management of HR function for company, including redundancies, disciplinaries, recruitment, performance reviews, TUPEs, etc;
• Print and production management, including contract negotiation and whole supply chain management;
• Management of extensive budgets and P&L - excess of £8million;

• Trojan Publishing was formed in 2006 and I was instrumental in its rapid growth culminating in its float on the PLUS market in 2008, becoming IP plc, and subsequent acquisitions of Scissorhands Media Ltd, Marine Media.
• Management of the editorial teams;
• Management of entire supply chain of over 80 titles per month;
• Full production responsibility;
• Set-up of the licensing division across all companies;
• Attending world trade shows - FiPP;
