* Act as an internal consultant to the business units on product reengineering and the PLM methodology.* Influence direction on engineering software decisions within the business units to support strategic alignment.* Analyze PLM enhancement requests and drive toward universal solutions.* Develop and maintain operating system tools and scripts for managing the PLM system, and perform the necessary database administration functions.* Lead the PLM support team, overseeing activities such as system monitoring, software interfaces, customizations, backup and restore.* Collaborate with IT Infrastructure team to manage hardware and software deployments.* Manage PLM implementation projects for new business locations, products, processes, functionality, remote servers, software upgrades, etc.* Interact with all levels of the organization to educate on PLM concepts, and plan and execute projects.* Work with software suppliers and consultants as needed to support PLM projects and to ensure accurate licensing.* Coordinate with PLM key users on business needs, project schedules, system changes, and training requirements.
