I am an Engineer, a Civil and Structural Engineer, and I love it. I am driven by design, construction, delivery and problem solving. Prior to joining Woolgar Hunter I worked in Glasgow, London and Saudi Arabia in heavily design focussed roles. This design driven background allowed me to work on a variety of technically complex projects in a variety of cities, most recognisably the Riverside Museum in Glasgow and Aga Khan residencies and Camden Centre both at Kings Cross London. Joining Woolgars gave me a great opportunity to further my design ambitions whilst developing both my understanding of the commercial side of Engineering Consultancy and my construction experience. My work at Woolgar Hunter has involved both detailed design work, driving the design focus of projects within the office and client liaison on projects mainly in the commercial and residential/hotel sectors with some work in the public sector. I am fortunate in that my role allows me to work on continually differing builds, from the large scale jobs like the ongoing refurbishment of Kelvin Hall, to smaller, intricate projects, like the Albus office development. Most recently, my team and I have worked on providing leisure and sport facilities at the Clydebank Leisure Centre in Glasgow and on providing commercial office space at City Park 1 in Aberdeen.I am currently working on the new 122 Waterloo street development for HFD construction as well as the Raddison Red project for Forest Hotel, as well as some other key projects within the office from london to Aberdeen.
