I started my career in Mechanical engineering, Design and Manufacture of Surgical Instruments and the automation of writing Pen Manufacture , producing over 1 million pens per day..In the 70's I retrained at Hatfield Pollytechnic in the emerging Micro Processor technology, spending the next 7 years designing Micro processor based special purpose Machines for the automation of the semiconductor industry.In 1980 I entered the commercial world supporting application for the new 16 bit micros and then into the senior management of sales and Electronic Market developement and finally specialising in Connectors and EMC Filter Connectors since 1997.I have been a company Director since 1991 and have been privileged to have helped develop the careers of many of todays senior Managers in many well known electronic distributors and manufacturing companies.
