Managing the largest production site in the uk , which filled and supplied Industrial , Hospitality and Medical Gas including the manufacture of Nitrous oxide, as well as being a top tier COMAH site. Ensuring the branch attained year on year improvements, not only in terms of productivity, but also in Safety and reputation. Being the catalyst for cultural change within the branch I ensured the longevity of all improvements made.

The change in title from Operations Manager to Production Manager saw transport & customer facing operations being managed at area level, rather than branch level.

Main duties Included: • Day to day accountability and responsibility for the site as well as management for the team to ensure targets were met and exceeded both in finical terms and safe operational performance • Budgetary accountability in excess of £3.5 million for both fixed and variable costs.• Responsibility for delivery of projects within agreed timescales and budgets.• Managing cylinder filling, testing, DA massing and transport operations for the North East Area.
