Facility Operations at the University of Calgary, within the Faculty of Kinesiology.

Independent Contractor for small residential construction and maintenance projects.Freelance Design work.

o Road construction, spray patching, traffic control, load securement, equipment mobilization and demobilization.o Troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical systems.o Experience with construction logistics, time management, job preparation and prioritization.

o High-end speaker assembly, consisting of mechanical and electronic assembly.o Experience with power tools, imperial and metric toolsets and electrical soldering, electronic troubleshooting and repair.

o Electrical system installation, demolition and LED retrofit.o Training with live (hot) electrical work as well as single and three phase electronic systems. Experience with power tools.

o Medical device design on two design projects.o Lead design engineer, in charge of design, modeling, assembly, testing and manufacturing. Outside of project definition, project planning and organization was performed with some input from supervising engineers. o Experience with 3D design software, engineering documentation (bill of materials, dimensions and tolerances), technical writing (manuscript, assembly protocol and publications) and coordination and communication with an interdisciplinary team.o Pending publications. “Design and prototyping of Robotic tools for Trans-oral Robotic Surgery (TORS)” “Design and prototyping of a hand controller attachment to improve control of robotic tools with articulating segments”
