Retired, highly motivated senior manager with extensive international experience in a number of fields.Fifteen years as a Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) practitioners with one of the world leaders in the field. Successful in securing investment into Wales from a number of sources including North America, Japan, Korea and Western Europe, mainly in manufacturing industries.This was followed by five years advising Local Government in South and West Wales on improving school environments and the efficiency of the school offering, and assessing their bids for match funding, in an environment of increasing pressure on the level of capital available for school building and refurbishment. The 21st Century Schools and Education Capital Funding programme, a joint seven year programme of the Welsh Government and Welsh Local Government, was utilised.My career started with over fifteen years working in personal financial services with a major player in the personal finance industry, in a variety of senior positions, culminating in the management of a medium sized branch offering access to services and advice to the public and business.
