As the Head of Logistics, I am responsible for the comprehensive management of logistics operations of the company, which primarily includes:▪ Preparation, development and implementation of logistics-related policies and procedures and ensuring their compliance with domestic legislative requirements as well as corporate-wide standard operating procedures;▪ Long-, mid- and short-term comprehensive planning and budgeting for logistics, including distribution, warehousing and maintenance costs;▪ Selecting, developing and implementing cost-effective, timely and functional logistics solutions, including the deployment of information systems and supply-chain management tools, their quality assurance and continuous monitoring;▪ Managing various logistics-related projects or initiatives, or logistics-related project elements in corporate-wide projects;▪ Managing a team of six logistics professionals, including motivating, training and developing their skill sets and capabilities to improve the set quantitative and qualitative performance parameters;▪ Representing the Logistics Department in senior management meetings and corporate-wide logistics-related meetings, providing presentations and regular analysis and reporting on key performance metrics, project timelines, and other ad-hoc management requests;▪ Other duties, such as overseeing of the vendor and customer databases, monitoring and overseeing the proper functioning of warehouse, master data handling, asset management, analyzing and reporting of logistics-related SAP and REXIS data, overseeing stock revaluations, reporting and controlling of instrument placements and other.Besides maintaining my daily and monthly activities, I was also a main leader of implementation of a new system SAP, and a system REXIS. Also I was the leader in implementation and introduction of direct delivery service.
