I am a practicing physician and author living in Rutland, Vermont, USA, with my wife and four children. I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Vermont’s College of Medicine, and I also teach resident physicians at the Fletcher Allen Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont. In addition to medicine and writing, I have been active as a medical speaker lecturing on diabetes and obesity, and I have served on numerous advisory committees for various organizations inside the medical community, the municipality, and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Burlington.
