I am a Sales Director and General Manager with extensive experience in the chemicals manufacturing and distribution industry. Working as a business leader for the past 18+ years, I have set the strategic vision and implemented business development plans that have enhanced performance and profitability whilst working with partners in pharmaceuticals, food ingredients, personal care, water treatment, CASE industries, surfactants, detergents, horticulture and metal treatment. Not shy of challenging situations, throughout my career I have consistently identified change opportunities and delivered improvements in organisations, from pricing and product positioning to procedures and, as a ‘people first’ person, I take my team and stakeholders with me on the journey by engaging them in the process. I encourage collaboration and communication and think that building enduring relationships with internal teams, stakeholders, clients and suppliers is essential to building profitable, successful businesses. With extensive experience of managing Sales, Commercial, Product and Customer Service personnel, I lead from the front to create cohesive, effective teams.
