SolidPoint offer High Definition Surveying services to the construction industry in the form of Laser scanning (pointclouds) and scan to BIM workflows.With a team of skilled surveyors, Architectural Technologists and Revit Technicians we are well equipped to help companies meet the ever growing demand for BIM workflows, especially in the measured building survey sector.We create all of our 3D surveys in house to ensure quality control. All of our models are produced natively in Revit to maintain full parametric intelligence, even all of our content is produced in a bespoke nature specifically for individual projects when required.We are adept at producing just about anything required from Laser scan data, while specialising in Measured building surveys, we have also produced 3D information for a number of other industries including: Gaming, Film, Industrial Maintenance, 3D space Planning for Airports and services, 3D printing, Conservation, Dilapidation and structural monitoring. There are many other possibilities and the use for the technology is growing rapidly. I am currently the sectary of the architecture society at the University of Derby, my role as sectary is one of the most important roles in the committee as I keep communication between the society and the student union as well as filling any forums out to organise events.
