- Lead and manage the day to day operation of club with approx. 60 staff, 200 slot machines, 4 bars, TAB & Keno as well as liasing with external contract caterers for 400 seat bistro. - Ensure club is abiding by all legislative requirements.- Liasing with external contractors regarding $12m redevelopment of external areas of club.- Liasing with Gaming manager & Marketing manager with suggestions for improvements or new promotions. Reporting to CEO.- Creating budgets for all areas of club to be presented to CEO & Board, and then implementation of any requirements to meet these budget KPI’s.- Creating rostering templates for rostering department to implement and then weekly approval of final rosters and costs prior to release.- Interacting with customers both in person as well as via letters to respond to guest feedback.Key achievements- 50% increase in bar sales from pre-renovation figures- Beverage GP% at record level- Introduction of Beer of the month, revamp of offering and advertising, to transfer reliance of sales from draught beer to higher GP items such as wine and premium beers.- Cost control including large reduction in wages by combining skills to cover 2 roles, and better management of peak trade periods.- Mystery shopper scores of over 95%- Turnover of staff at record low levels

- Lead and manage the day to day operation of casino with 10 tables and 125 slot machine & cage operations.- Undertake analysis of data for all tables and slot machines to report to CEO of any variances, as well as making recommendations for change.- Rostering for approx. 50 staff, including training of these staff in new games and in particular slot machine repairs.- Liasing with VIP customers (local and overseas) to ensure all needs are exceeded, and to develop relationships to deliver return visits.- Introduction of all gaming marketing requirements to increase trade.- Working with CEO / CFO to create budgets.Key achievements- Gaming floor redesign to increase turnover from relocation of machines.- Input into design of gaming floor for renovation of part of gaming floor and liasing with manufacturers for purchase of 26 extra machines.- Introduction of new table game Texas Hold-em Bonus, as well as introduction of cash poker games and running of monthly local tournaments.- Liasing with teams from Noumea as well as Australia to conduct a 100 person South Pacific Poker tournament each year.
