PA's business was selling enterprise software, software enabled services and general privacy consulting . Products facilitated secondary use of big data by enabling customers to perform statistical based risk determinations of re-identification of personal identities contained therein. Customer base was principally Fortune 100 companies. Sold the company in May of 2016 to IMS Healthcare.

Sold to BG Acorn Fund in 1995.
