The primary responsibility of this position was to provide support to Engineers within the Technical Services Department and Scientist in the research and development group. Technical services is the main customer interface for technical discussions regarding both current and developing products, applications and issues. In this position I was also responsible for servicing and qualifying both new and existing products. Using my previous experience with Heraeus products I was able to excel in this role and take on additional responsibilities.Shortly after beginning this position i took over the secondary responsibilities for Heraeus's copper paste products.• Took charge of the development and reliability testing of a new product: thick print copper paste for DBC replacement in power electronics. • Solder and thick Al wire bond adhesion after humidity and thermal cycling up to 1000 hours and cycles. • Maintaining two N2 atmosphere BTU international belt furnaces • Assisting customers with furnace profile setup. • Played a key role in assisting the sales and marketing teams with new product introduction through the design of a product brochure and technical datasheets. • Primary responsibility for prototype development including electroless nickel immersion gold plating of final customer designs.Other responsibilities included: • Providing technical reports for internal and external use, • Monthly updates for technology director• SEM analysis• Customer testing for development of fuel level senders• Ag migration study• Wire bonding• Thin film plating• Product testing on AlN, BeO, Silicon, alumina and Aluminum

I developed and qualified new Au pastes that were free of lead and phthalates. These products were meant to replace existing products and are currently part of Heraeus' standard production.I was responsible for maintaining careful inventory and followed standard company procedures for the use of all materials including precious metals (Ag, Au, Cd, Cu, Pd, Pt).I also manufacturing and tested various thick film pastes for full time engineers including: fuel-cell, buried electrode, dielectrics, conductor, resistor, and insulator.Part of my responsibilities included creating and filing technical information reports for all products tested.Filled and processed customer orders for the research and development department.

Responsibilities Include Programing and operation on Machinery Including: Epilog EXT Laser Cutter, Tenney Envrironmental Chambers, Sentry 2.0 Kiln, Blue Wave UV Light Guide.I developed many mechanical and engineering drawings for product design as well as production/manufacturing improvements. AutoCad, some Solid Works.Designened and implemented experiments for product design, evaluation, and production improvement.Designed and implemented a preventative maintenance schedual for machines operated, as well as for 6 vacuum coating machines.I worked closely with experienced engineers in varying fields including: Optics, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, and Quality Control, as well as with supervisors and production employees.

I continued my work in this Bio-lab under the direct supervision of a faculty physician scientist, who recently transferred their lab from the University of Pennsylvania to Drexel University.I played an essential role in the setting up this new lab including organizing lab equipment, labeling chemicals and updating the lab's animal colony database.Other responsibilities included Chemical Prep, DNA Prep, running Polymerase chain reactions, Gell elctrolysis, Microscopy, and animal care.
