  Mr. Ibarbo is a first-generation American, who was raised in the La Mesa region of southern New Mexico. Currently, he is the senior trade specialist for the International Business Accelerator, a division of the New Mexico Small Business Development Center Network. Ibarbo currently manages a portfolio of over five-hundred IBA clients representing over $26.4 million of foreign direct investment and $22.1 million in New Mexico state exports. Ibarbo has also published articles on international trade for the Citizen Media Group, a New Mexico non-profit news and education group and is professor at El Paso Computer Career Center.Previously, Ibarbo served as Assistant Marketing Director for Santa Teresa Real Estate Development, an industrial development group that established three world-class industrial parks in southern New Mexico, now owned by Verde Realty Corporate Services.Ibarbo has served as a trade specialist in New Mexico’s Chihuahua Trade Office. He has worked for Seguros Monterrey/Aetna and the U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce in Mexico City. He holds a B.B.A. in International Business and is currently pursing his M.B.A. at New Mexico State University.He has extensive experience counseling businesses on international trade, marketing, and economic development.
