Having worked within the electrical retail industry for over 30 years, I have developed a wide range of skills. I have taken charge of stores employing around 15 employees, forming cohesive teams that have helped companies achieve the overall objectives. During my time with Dixons Retail Plc, I had many achievements, including Top Sales Award and helped a store to win The Chairman’s Shield, the most prestigious award in the company, which is recognition for the companies overall best store each year. I have worked and managed in all sizes of store, from Independents, concessions, high street stores, Superstores and Megastores. The skills I have developed include selling and merchandising products, training staff on the products and services, promotion changing, sales coaching and staff reviews. I would describe myself as a great people manager and find I am always able to motivate my colleagues to offer the best possible service, and achieve the very best results.
