Actionable Insights was focused on leveraging Big Data and Data Science to derive Insights, develop product and actionable strategy to drive performance and value across the organisation. Actionable Insights was an Advanced Data & Analytics Center of Excellence providing Big Data and Data Science capability across all functions of the Caltex business including Marketing, Supply, Supply Chain, Finance and HR Peter established (from the ground up) the Big Data and Data Science capability at Caltex and led a team of experienced Data Scientists and Analytic Strategists. Peter was responsible for recruiting and building the Actionable Insights team, establishing from the ground up a Big Data and Data Science technology platform and developing and deploying Strategic analytic programs to deliver quantified benefit to Caltex.Actionable Insights utilized a broad set of capabilities including advanced mathematical/statistical modelling, predictive analysis and modelling, prescriptive modelling/optimization and data visualization. Actionable Insights also leveraged Behavioral Economics and Decision Theory to develop campaigns and interventions that delivered significant value to the Caltex business.
