Senior Software DeveloperReslink Solutions Ltd Jun 2015 - Feb 2017Helsinki, FinlandI was hired to Reslink to develop the backend of the company through my expertise in Java, PHP and MySQL. Shortly after my trial period the company aimed to extend their portfolio with an iOS mobile client, which was an unknown field for all employees at the firm. I was trusted alone to design and implement the iOS version of the existing Symbian and Android front-end application from scratch based on existing functionality in the other platforms. Accordingly, I had to learn the language and the toolset in my own phase and based on some mentoring provided by my supervisor. Initially the application was developed in Swift 2.0 but later migrated to 2.2 and 3.0.In a later stage of my stay at the company, I have introduced the git instead of the SVN versioning system in use back then. I was responsible for the migration of the existing code base and to teach my colleagues in the usage of the new tool.I have experimented with TDD while developing the iOS mobile application at this company. This initiation was unique at the firm and has led to the development of an internal, more comprehensive CI and DevOPS tool. During the summer time I was responsible for customer support and enhancements of customer documentation as well as internal documentation. I have been modelling and optimizing business processes such as customer support and ticketing at the same time. Later on this material was used for customer training and education purposes from which I took great piece for myself. From April 2016, I was the technical project lead with a project closely developed with a local brewery in Finland. An customized iPad application was developed which integrates to the Reslink platform together with a data analysis toolkit via the integration of a 3rd party data visualization service (ClicData). I was equally responsible in this project for development as well as team coordination, collecting requirements, meeting the customer and co-designing the product with them. -
Project AssistantLapin Ammattikorkeakoulu / Lapland University Of Applied Sciences May 2015 - Jun 2015Tornio, FinalndLapland University of Applied Sciences was in cooperation with other universities in the Nordic countries and part of Kolarctic Programme. Through this programme, four partner universities from Norway, Russia and Finland organized the Practice Future Project for several consecutive years. The aim of the project was cross-border entrepreneurship and innovation in the Barents Region. In the spring of 2015, it was the turn of Lapland University of Applied Sciences to organize the last course and workshop to end the project. I was hired by the university as a Project Assistant for four months for the Practice Future Project and the upcoming Summer Campus hosted by the university. My roles covered guiding visitors, organizing free-time activities, preparing brochures and marketing material for future reference. In addition to that, I was trusted to assist students and teacher around the campus by preparing facilities and equipment for the lectures. Despite the positive feedback on my work, in the beginning of June my contract was terminated because I received a job opportunity in Helsinki at Resink Solutions. -
Junior Software DeveloperAdminetwork Hungary Feb 2014 - Aug 2014Székesfehérvár, HungaryAfter my ERASMUS exchange I was contacted by AdmiNetwork Hungary concerning a full time contract following up my previous internship at the company. As most of my colleagues were originally system administrators, the company was lacking experience in the field of software development. My expertise and previous studies therefore contributed to extend the company's profile. As time passed by the company extended its interest on this line from system administration to ERP development. To extend my previous role I was first trusted to assist the version upgrade of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2010 to 2013. The upgrade process from my side required configuration, data migration and installation of the CRM software. Furthermore, I was involved in the testing, refactoring debugging and documenting internal, automatized web services (SharePoint-CRM data synchronization service (C#, .NET)). After the version upgrade was performed I turned out to be one of the administrators of the new Dynamics CRM 2013 system. My role was to provide support to the end-users and create customized reports and forms accordingly to their needs. Later I got involved in ERP development. In practice this means the basics of Microsoft Dynamics NAV development and customization. My role covered the manual acceptance testing, end-user documentation and minor development of a Point of Service software embedded in Dyamics NAV. Accordingly, the company required me to acquire the "MB7-700 Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 Installation & Configuration" certificate.Last, but not least I was involved in customer support (phone and e-mail), the development of customers' Joomla based websites and an internal ticketing service running on Zend Framework. I was trusted with the development of automatized mechanisms and further customization of the software what provided us more flexibility in our work.

TraineeAdminetwork Hungary May 2013 - Aug 2013Székesfehérvár, HungaryMy studies at University of Óbuda required a 6 weeks internship which I accomplished at the local firm AdmiNetwork Hungary Ltd. in Székesfehérvár. My interests in software development fitted into the company's needs despite the fact that back then they were running business related to computer networks. My roles covered development of internal web services and processes in ASP.net and C# languages. In addition to that, my role was to configure and reinstall end-user computers as well as Windows servers to some extent.

Teacher AssistantÓbuda University Feb 2013 - Jun 2013Székesfehérvár, HungaryFor one semester at Óbuda University I was trusted with the responsibility to teach programming in C# language to fellow schoolmates. The lessons given by me were hosted in the university's facilities in the afternoons, once a week. My tasks covered preparing material to demonstrate pitfalls and best practices from a practical point of view. In most of the cases we discussed a specific problem in these sessions from a theoretical aspect, then we solved one or more practical tasks together with the students. At the end of the semester I received positive feedback from both the students and responsible teachers.
