Financial Accountant
Current• Complete Internal reporting requirements including completion of management accounts.• Responsible for Accounting Function in the Company thus ensuring all Balance Sheet accounts are correctly stated, (Balance Sheet Control Log).• Monthly Close including Departmental Profit and Loss analysis, annual revenue c. £35m• Monthly cash flow forecasts and cash flow management.• Planning and organization of the external audit including preparation of annual financial statements.• Review of monthly gross to nett payroll for 60 staff.• Management of PAYE returns, and approval of payroll in liaison with payroll provider.• UK VAT and CIS returns to HMRC• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions including credit control and payments approval process.• Assist in corporation tax calculation and primary contact for liaising with the tax consultants.• GBP and EUR bank account reconciliations• Inter company account reconciliations• Fixed Asset register maintenance and monthly depreciation calculation.• Manage two staff as a team to process the AR and AP function.• Liaise with other departments for all ad-hoc queries as they arise.
