Pete Borgman was a Vice President at bswift; one of the premier benefits administration providers in the United States. Pete was responsible for leading client health & welfare operational activities related to Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). The bswift EDI team team provides service delivery excellence to Health and Welfare (HW) clients and vendor partners via reliable carrier, payroll, HRIS data file exchanges, direct connections, and print fulfillment.

During his time at Conduent (formerly Xerox Services), Pete led the Total Benefits Outsourcing (TBO) Practice Leadership and US Shared Service Operations teams. Team responsibilities included Defined Contribution (DC) daily valuation, Defined Benefit (DB) pension payroll, Qualified Domestic Relationship Orders (QDRO) reviews, inbound mail and imaging, outbound fulfillment, and Dependent Eligibility Verification activities.

At Xerox Services (formerly Affiliated Computer Services), Pete led the DB / DC Benefits Implementations and TBO Practice Leadership teams within the HR Outsourcing Business. During this time, Pete was instrumental in the effort to introduce Affordable Care Act (ACA) services to furnish Form 1095’s to 2M+ participants. Responsibilities included the TBO training function, HW Open Enrollment, and Risk / Audit teams (all continued into Conduent responsibilities).

Pete carried out several roles during his 28-year career at Hewitt Associates (currently known as Alight):Implementation Leader (2006 - 2008)• Responsible for successful implementation of client operations on Hewitt’s TBA platform. • Developed client relationships, managed staff across U.S. and India, executed the project plan. HRO Quality and Offshoring (2001 - 2006)• SDLC - Instituted Hewitt’s first Systems Development Life Cycle process for benefits outsourcing• Implemented ‘best practices’ multi-service demonstration platform used for training and sales• Created, staffed, and managed Hewitt’s first offshore business model for TBA implementations. Delivery Group Manager (1998 - 2001)• Managed 100 technology associates for 50 Retirement (DB / DC) and Health & Welfare clients. Systems Developer (1980 - 1998)• Responsible for analysis, design, development, and testing across 10 different proprietary benefits platforms used to support Retirement (DB / DC) clients • Managed teams of associates during development of Hewitt’s TBA System platform (built to support Retirement and Health and Welfare clients)
