He was Editor in Chief of Performance Improvement Quarterly from 1996 to 2002.Peter has been a Communication, Ethics, and Leadership lecturer at The Wharton School and the Fels Center of Government at The University of Pennsylvania. In addition, he has been on the faculty at Fordham University, Pennsylvania State University, and the University of Iowa. Peter holds his Ph.D. in Learning Psychology and Human Resources Management from the University of Iowa and an MS in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania.Dr. Dean is a highly regarded author, having written impactful books, including Mastering Leadership Fundamentals, Cultivating Leaders, The Bully-Proof Workplace, The Coachable Leader, and Leadership for Everyone.Peter and his wife, Molly Shepard, are partners in business. They are parents of four children and seven grandchildren.
