I have worked in plastic processing for 20+ years. I started as a packer at a factory in Gloucester. I soon became a mechanic repairing and running the production machines, blow molders and baggers. I've worked in many aspects of plastic processing, Initially as a mechanic and machine builder, then transitioning into research and development / product design. While working at Cardinal Health I was responsible for the run-in of all new molds and contributed to the design of the containers which we were molding. A few of my designs resulting in various patents. I was responsible for the installation of multimillion dollar production lines. This included managing the budget while utilizing multiple outside vendors and suppliers. I was responsible for purchasing, specifying and integration of machine components and releasing payments to contractors as the work was completed. I was hired on at Roll LLC to further the development of the Mosquito 86 mosquito control system. While there I redesigned the existing system to use fewer parts and to enable it to adapt to many commercial leaf blowers on the market. The product line was sold and I moved on to Diamond Tool Werks. My tenure at Diamond was short and responsibilities were similar to those at Cardinal Health. In 2008 I had an offer to return to MA to work for Healthstar bringing me a bit closer to home.Specialties: Product & mold design, process development, machine building, design & maintenance.
