Perform mine warfare and combat construction operations, to include construction of fighting/defensive positions, disarming of mines and booby traps, and installation of wire obstacle materials. Also provide support for construction and tactical movements. Prepare, install, and prime firing systems for demolitions and explosives.Supervise departmental personnel, assign tasks, and provide technical guidance to subordinates, supervise reconnaissance missions and direct employment of light and heavy engineering vehicles. Accountable for all department personnel, materials, and equipment and for enforcing safety standards. Calculate logistical requirements for minefields, bunkers, shelters, obstacles, and wire entanglements.Develop training support packages and plans of instruction for mobilization training cells. Implement and execute training, in order to prepare staff for overseas deployments. Maintain situational awareness of external, pertinent circumstances and events, analyze current training programs, and develop or modify existing training to meet the company’s ever- evolving needs.Create and organize training materials and develop testing and evaluation standards and procedures as well as assess, plan, integrate, coordinate, and execute training and readiness procedures for departmental personnel, Accountable for department’s equipment, to include the inventory and routine and unscheduled maintenance of departmental equipment. Write operation orders, request training resources, conduct briefs, and assess training, to ensure it meets the standards of company requirements..Ensured section and personnel were up to company standards, for inspection purposes. Resolved conflicts and issues within the section and personnel, to include enforcing orders and executing personnel disciplinary actions, as determined by superiors.
