AFS is the market leader in the manufacture and supply of permanent formwork solutions with their LOGICWALL and REDIWALL products. CSR acquired this business in Apr-14 to increase their exposure to the growing multi-residential market. As Finance Manager for AFS I have a hands on role with full financial oversight and responsibility for 7 direct reports across Customer Service, purchasing, contracts, credit, cost accounting and business systems. Key to the role has been the integration of the business from a family business - working towards integrating financial systems and processes to align with CSR - including acting as Business Engagement Manager on the SAP implementation project.

Responsible for 11 manufacturing plants across QLD, NSW, VIC, SA and NZ. Activities included Budgeting, forecasting, standard costing, capital proposal support. During my time in Bricks & Roofing I streamlined the budget and standard costing process to reduce chance of errors and time required.During my time at Bricks and Roofing I also worked on the Bricks Joint Venture with Boral as well as providing financial analysis and modelling to the start-up business with CSR - Velocity - a business which prefabricates housing offsite to speed up the construction process.

Responsible for financials of Boral's Shared Business Services covering Financial Services (AP, AR, Credit, Payroll, Fleet, Fixed Assets, General & Systems Accounting, Transactional Audit) IT and Projects. Worked with department Team Leaders and Managers to compile budgets/forecasts as well as being owner of recharge model to Boral's Business Units. Development of adhoc COGNOS reports as required. Reported weekly & monthly on business process KPI's for all of Boral, drawing data from numerous different systems in the process.Assisted Projects & IT department as finance lead on IT Outsourcing Project (Infrastructure and Help Desk)

Boral manufactures their own cement at 2 plants in the Southern Highlands just outside of Sydney. Moved into this role to broaden my manufacturing site experience within a large scale manufacturing environment.As Cost Accountant I was responsible for site accounting, costing, monthly reporting, balance sheet recs, budget/forecasting process.
