Alongside managing a successful +£1mill sales department I was a part-time sales analyst for 15 other Home departments across the business. Used sales reports to show opportunity at other stores as well as helping show buying trends.Hard & efficient working was crucial to succeeding in what was basically two full time roles. Reports went to category manager and MD level. Included travelling to other stores for on site help and helping with refitting stores and maximizing profits from spaces.

A short term buying role for the Children's Department for Blue Diamond. In truth a role I did not overly enjoy or felt suited to. Changed role at my own request to something more suited to. During my time buying I oversaw the Children's department for the Group, working alongside suppliers, sourcing new goods and doing sales analysis alongside my department head role.

Growing profits through product selection, displays and backing winners alongside reading reports and stock management to grow the department. Won best department award in my first two years back to back, something never before achieved. At the time I was competing with around 14 other stores. Department also externally awarded for excellence by an outside association responsible for overseeing UK garden centers. High performance in this role lead to other promotions and part-time head office work alongside my department management from mid 2013 to 2016.
