As a Computer Science and Math student at the University of Toronto, I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to solve real-world problems with technology. I am expected to graduate in June 2025 and I am a member of the Arts and Science Internship Program, which provides me with opportunities to gain valuable work experience in the tech industry.One of these opportunities was a four-month internship at PathControl, a company that develops software solutions for path planning and optimization. There, I contributed to algorithm implementation, code management, and project planning, using Matlab as the main programming language. I also worked collaboratively with other interns and engineers to discuss and propose required functions during weekly sessions. Through this experience, I enhanced my technical, communication, and teamwork skills, and learned more about the software development process and best practices. Additionally, I developed an interest in machine learning, which I hope to explore further in my future projects and courses.
