Peter is Founder and Managing Director of Anditi Pty Ltd and has over 30 years’ experience in the use of geospatial and remote sensing data for infrastructure and asset assessment, environmental and natural resource assessment and management, research and engineering design.Prior to founding Anditi in 2014, Peter was Founder and Director of Umwelt (Australia) Pty Limited from March 1993 to January 2018. From 1990 to 1993 Peter was Manager Environmental Services with Resource Planning Pty Limited and Director. After completing his Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) in Newcastle in 1985, Peter held the positions of Research Assistant and Lecturer in the Department of Resource Engineering at the University of New England, Armidale NSW. In addition to these professional positions, Peter has extensive practical experience in engineering, construction, resource management and generally joining the dots.Peter has project managed and been principal researcher and author for a broad range of including Environmental Impact Assessments, Traffic Impact Assessments, Regional Studies, and asset-based assessments for linear infrastructure including roads, rail and powerlines.Peter has prepared and presented expert reports in regard to a wide range of aspects of environmental management, soil and water management, traffic management and waste management to over 50 hearings of the Land and Environment Court and to Commissions of Inquiry.These projects have focused on utilizing geospatial information integrated with data from a broad array of sources. This has included fusing and analysing massive LiDAR, imagery and GIS data sets through to advanced feature extraction from LIDAR and imagery used rule based and Artificial Intelligence analytics techniques. More recently Peter has been working extensively with the extraction of road assets and roadside features from mobile LiDAR and imagery and has recently achieved iRAP Accreditation for Road Attribute Coding.

Peter was a Director of Umwelt (Australia) Pty Limited with over 30 years experience in environmental assessment, environmental engineering, catchment management, coastline management, design of surface and groundwater management systems including flood and groundwater modelling and environmental research projects. Peter has prepared and presented in excess of 30 expert reports in relation to soil and water management, flooding, management of urban and industrial stormwater and groundwater the Land and Environment Court and to Commissions of Enquiry.
