PMO Project Director:Responsible for a team of 13 specialist consultants covering Construction, Contracts and Commercial, and Operations and Maintenance employed by RTA in the capacity as Project Management Office (PMO). Role includes:• Interface Management for all Stakeholders, developing a Stakeholders Integrated Management Plan (SIMP) in order to better execute all facets of EN50126 project management. This includes but is not limited to Construction oversight, test and commissioning, regulation and certification, roads/ fire/ utilities, operations readiness, service level agreements and interface, defects liability management;• Team Leader at Rail Agency Chairman, CEO and Senior Management Meetings;• Team Leader at AECOM HQ;• Development of monitoring procedures for Contractor and Engineer activities associated with Railway Readiness on Al Sufouh Tram - variations control, claim minimisation;• Review and advise on the program and ensure Contractor/ The Engineer implements plans and procedures;• Assist senior management on the resolution of technical and commercial issues to ensure timely contract completion;• Review Contractor’s planning and technical submissions and reports related to Railway Readiness and identify appropriate mitigation strategies to overcome problems related to the project;• Assist with interface and integration management between civil/ track, E&M andrail system works within RA’s sphere of influence/area of work;• Participate in all facets of the Risk Management process to ensure issues have mitigation strategies identified;• Ensure regular and effective liaison with other RTA and Rail Agency Directorates and where necessary, obtain their support and involvement during the construction, pre-operation and operation phases including final design review, equipment acceptance and test and commissioning.
