• Act as Ocean freight (FCL and LCL) and Airfreight bid manager and actively lead the TM process, leading the opportunity to success by bringing together the necessary stakeholders and provide them with clear guidelines and milestones• Prepare competitive, high-quality proposals in response to forwarding RFQs/RFIs/RFPs received in close cooperating with other Tender Management Teams, Bid Owner, Product/Procurement, and support functions• Identify and address opportunities to continuously improve effectiveness and efficiency of the tender management organization to reduce costs, increase productivity and improve win ratio• Conduct necessary analysis and checks – common-rating issues, benchmarking of rates against tariff and existing business rates, etc., to ensure quality of data and deliver winning tender proposals• Deep-dive checks on the information received from internal stakeholders to ensure quality of tender submission• Process timely submission of RFQs/RFIs/RFPs in customer platform such as Coupa, GTNexus, Keelvar, Jaggaer, Ticontract, Ariba, etc. when necessary• Ensure post bid analysis is performed by bid owners for all bids, both successful and unsuccessful tenders. Ensure received tender feedback is shared with relevant functions in the organization• Maintain tender data profiling and records on required platforms (SharePoint, etc.).• Supports optimization of bid processes and price guidelines and monitor the tender feedback quality

• Creation of Multiple Trade contracts (compilation of Rates, Surcharges, Additional and Qualitative Issues) within the guidelines of the applicable regulatory bodies and APL standard processes and guidelines using the Contract Negotiation Workbook (CNW) as a primary tool• As required by law, insure that the initial contract and subsequent amendments are filed with the appropriate government agencies in a timely manner• Monitor and log all pending revisions based on information provided by Sales or Trade pricing• The Analyst must liaise with worldwide Trade Pricing teams ensuring comprehension of commercial intent of complex Service Contracts• Analyze and interpret the governing rules tariffs as applicable to Service Contracts• Monitor and respond to all incoming communications from worldwide Trades/Markets, RMS Documentation, Customer Service and Bill of Lading audit teams• Prepare all relevant bid working documents for use by Trade Pricing teams to submit quotations• Assists in the implementation of new tender system – Web Tender Tool; Pilot tester in processing tenders on new system
