Generation and management of document numbers for documents created on ProjectWise• Testing and configuration of the new CONNECT Edition software for MicroStation and AECOSim• Providing technical support to the BIM Managers for AECOSim, MicroStation, and ProjectWise, as well as provision of specifications for required hardware, and other miscellaneous technical queries• Supervision and QA of CAD Operators’ work• Coordination of all disciplines in development of models and drawings for each package of works• Checking, advising on, and revising CAD Standards, BIM Execution Plans, CAD Guidance notes etc• Visualisations and animation of modelling and point cloud data for IDC/IDR.

    Atkins, Crossrail Anglia (2015 – 2017) - Working on the M&E systems for 13 Stations as part of Network Rail’s infrastructure upgrade. Work included detailed modelling of the CMS, Lighting, HVAC Systems, Drainage, and DOO systems, and integrations into existing and new areas of the stations.• Detailed analysis of point cloud work was also undertaken to reduce the need for further physical surveys. Problematic signage was and located and identified along the route, then analysed to allow unique solutions to be created for individual elements.• Point cloud information was also used where existing structures required modelling for installation and integration of new systems and upgrades, including developing models of the station Ticket Halls, Platforms, Canopies, and other room and platform furniture. Modelling of OHLE structures was also undertaken, using supplied data generated from ELF.• During periods of extended absence of the project’s CAD Manager, I also undertook his roles, including management of CAD data, quality control, and dealing with inquiries both internal and client facing. I have also assisted in the smooth delivery of IDC, Form A, Form B, and AFC packages within ProjectWise, and liaised with the document controllers on the project.• I developed visual basic software routines and processes to improve drawing production output, and to automate common functions inside Microstation. I also developed visual basic routines to generate valid watermarked PDFs for issue when the ProjectWise rendition server failed to produce renditions.• Later in the role I took on CAD Coordination duties as the number of staff increased and conducted QA assessment of work produced for MEP. I also liaised with the CAD manager and staff on all disciplines, providing technical assistance, QA assessment, and coordination of data.
