Started in 1986 as an apprentice with Otis elevator in Jamaica, West Indies. After training; was promoted as an elevator service technician. Migrated to the United States and continued working as a service technician. later in my career I was promoted to a Foreman position for some years then to Maintenance and Technical Support Supervisor. Experienced in maintaining and troubleshooting various elevator equipment with a demonstrated history of safety while working in the elevator industry. Skilled in analog and digital Elevator Control, Hydraulic Control Systems and Electrical Wiring. Strong operations professional. Provided safety training for mechanics and perform regular safety audits in prior company. Completed continuing education programs from various manufacturers.  Completed corporate "Train the Trainer" program and other in-house technical training.  Licensed Elevator Mechanic in the state of New Jersey, New York and New York City. Love to assist and teach others the best way I can without looking for anything in return. Safety of the workers and the riding public is my first priority.
