Since February 2015, I have been employed in Green Isle Hotel. I was recruited as Bar Manager which included tasks of staff rota, wages, cashing up and dealing with change orders, stock orders with weekly meetings with reps to monitor the trends in the wine/spirit and beer markets as well as doing stocktaking, servicing function rooms. In my time as Bar Manager, I was also hands on in the organising and promoting of Live Music in the main bar, for which i have made considerable contacts and I was credited with an increase in productivity and turnover of almost 40% in my first 6 months. Since August 2015 I was promoted to F & B Manager, carrying out most of the same duties, while overseeing both restaurant and bar staff rotas. Other duties included the setting up and the overseeing of functions such as weddings and parties, and worked closely with head chef ensuring the fast and efficient service to our guests, ensuring staff carry out duties promptly, delegating duties where necessary and very much customer focused. I am looking to further my career and feel I am both a team player and equally comfortable working on my own initiative.
