In this fast paced and challenging role, I oversee the facilities management operation in the largest distribution centre, within the UK’s leading retailer. The contract is worth circa £3M and employs 1500+ people.I am responsible for P&L, overall service delivery and the day to day direction of several managers. I am accountable for over 200 employees and ensure that the operation is compliant and responsive.During my time in this position thus far; I have overhauled the structure of the operation, increasing our profitability, have engaged with frontline staff and increased morale via a detailed one to one process (including an education and NVQ programme). As a result, this approach has substantially increased the KPI score, the latest being the highest ever recorded. Our relationship with the client has never been stronger - we have solidified our partnership, recently winning additional business as a result.
