Responsible for leading all improvement efforts and drives the implementation and maintenance of BKR Quality management system in manufacturing facilities of the Eastern Hemisphere for OIC. Conducts quality planning and setting of quality objectives for different facilities within OIC Manufacturing. Implements, maintains and continually improves BHI Quality Management system to align with industry and BKR standards (BHOS). Facilitates process improvements, qualitative risk assessments, root cause analysis and corrective actions aligned to allow continuous improvements in support of business goals and objectives. Organizes and manage internal audits including follow-up and closes audit findings using available reporting systems (QMT). Share knowledge within the quality community and to the wider BKR organization providing training, tools and techniques as required to allow other functions to achieve the established goals and objectives. Drives efforts to reduce Cost of Quality in our OIC manufacturing locations. Supervises a team in the execution of the above activities in the different manufacturing sites in the Eastern Hemisphere. Prepares and presents business updates such as Incident review boards for manufacturing, management reviews, and quality updates to leadership

Provide support to BHGE product lines providing operational and technical support globally focusing on strategic accounts. Responsible for ensuring technology deadlines are executed for tenders. Develops and enhances working relationship with all product lines to ensure flawless execution of projects and knowledge transfer with operations and technology. Works closely with technical product managers and product line managers to ensure the most effective solutions are delivered to our customers providing value and the biggest return on investment.

Manage the scope and focus of employee training and development within the CIS organisation. Participated in the preparation and review of papers for international conferences. Written and reviewed SOPs, HRA etc… to ensure products commercialized are robust and developed safely adhering to the PDM process. Employed as a scientist in the Integrity Management (IM) group to research and develop chemistries that inhibit corrosion within the oil and gas industry. Particular interest was centered on the development of “green” corrosion inhibitors to be used in the North Sea and also, inhibitors designed to perform in sour gas fields in the Middle East. Project management of REACH regulation for the IM chemical portfolio; business case reviews, budget analysis and determination, pre-registration, SIEF’s, IUCLID, chemical safety reports etc.. Experience of working in a root cause analysis groups to problem solve and investigate production/ supply issues. 5C laboratory champion to encourage new best practice and continuous improvement in the workplace. Input into writing and improving laboratory based procedures. Experience attained offshore on North Sea oil and gas platforms for field trials of potential new chemistries and products. Experience of engaging with internal and external customers.

Employed as a senior development chemist leading a team of QC chemists in the research and development of organoclay products for use within the oil and gas drilling industry. Orchestrated product development from granular laboratory to full scale plant production, and managed plant trials with members of the production and engineering team. Designed and implemented new MSDS sheets in conjunction with the health and safety department for new products. Communicated with customers and other research centre’s throughout the world necessary to continue the development of new organoclay products.
