Being born and raised in the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas, I have always been invested in everything new and exciting that has come out from the tourism and event industry. This has inspired me to further my education in this field and complete my bachelor's degree in Tourism, Convention, and Event Planning at the College of Southern Nevada.Throughout my college career, I've worked various roles in Events and Guest Services for the Vegas Golden Knights, Walt Disney World, and the Fremont Street Experience. When I worked for the Fremont Street Experience in 2021, I was a special event intern for the Fremont Rocks Concert series which was extended until the end of the year for various more shows. I helped set up and organize each of the concerts throughout that time period.During my time at Walt Disney World, I completed the Disney College Program as an Attractions Cast Member at the Jungle Cruise. I was responsible for entertaining thousands of guests daily while telling jokes on boats for about 15 minutes on each trip. Every day the Magic Kingdom is famous for hosting its 2 biggest events, the parades in the afternoon and fireworks in the evening, I was responsible for assisting with each of these events while directing and engaging with the guests to give them the best experience possible.I am currently working for the Vegas Golden Knights as a guest service representative at City National Arena. My role with the company is being the first point of contact for guests as they arrive at the arena, and assisting with any tournament or events that we are hosting. I have been part of some of the most exciting times in our arena's history such as our first Stanley Cup Championship and hosting the first USA Hockey Nationals Tournament. My roles with these companies have made me more of a detail-oriented person along with growing my social skills. All of these experiences have been beneficial in my growth and knowledge of the tourism and event industry and I look forward to wherever my next path takes me.
