My role was to serve as a liaison between the dealers' and Chrysler corporate headquarters to assist in all areas of retail development including forecasting retail sales objectives by vehicle line, ensuring dealer orders meet market demand and managing monthly vehicle allocation and scheduling to ensure maximum production capability within the district. Reviewing minimum sales responsibility (MSR) and providing consultation on improvement opportunities. In addition, I was expected to review and analyze dealer financial statements and consult with dealers to improve their operations and retail business. I assisted dealers to ensure compliance with FCA US LLC Dealer Standards, as well as ensure that advertising is consistent with the corporate message and branding guidelines. Additionally, this role was to ensure that proper levels of sales satisfaction are present at all dealerships while identifying areas for improvement. Motivating and leading independent entrepreneurs to higher levels of performance consistent with marketing plans, merchandising, and financial statement reviews were critical responsibilities of this position. I was instrumental in training dealership personnel on new products.
