A hard-working, conscientious and reliable individual who is regarded as a ‘people person’, with a creative mind set to problem solving and a customer first mentality. With a BEng (Hons) degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Systems Engineering I progressed into the automotive industry first with Toyota Europe, and then onto Jaguar Land Rover, my current employer of 22+ years. Having so far enjoyed a varied career within Product Engineering (Interior Trim and Safety Components), Event and Vehicle management within the PR function and a year within the Brand Licensing team at JLR - returning to Engineering as Module Leader (Management level) for Exterior Trim and Lighting where I recently transitioned to the role of Scrum Master (scrum.org certified) and later Product Owner within Exteriors as JLR adapts to the Agile methodology.Building upon this experience I have now moved into the role of Engineering Delivery Manager supporting our AGILE development and working closely with a number of Squads to assist their journey through the development and releasing processes with a focus on delivering our components into prototype builds through to J1.The roles have developed my managerial skills in leading teams of Engineers through the development of components, from concept through to full #J1 production. Focused on meeting all the program gateways (PCDS), attributes and performance deliverable. Requiring a knowledge of component design, injection moulding tooling and processes, materials engineering and measurement techniques, I am also an active Team Player collaborating with colleagues in Program Management, Design, Purchase and Manufacturing and reporting out status to senior management. In the previous 18 months I have enthusiastically embraced AGILE and it's methodologies and philosophies it brings to program management, working initially as a Scrum Master and then later as Product Owner. But the best part is motivating, developing and instilling passion into my team for the products and brand we work upon.
