Highly interested in successful rainfall derived infiltration/inflow (RDII) elimination. Thousands of communities have tried, but most have failed to measurably reduce RDII. Only a few have succeeded grandly. Success depends on unconventional, counter-intuitive processes not described in EPA guidance documents. As a result, cookbook approaches rarely succeed, however, unconventional approaches have succeeded in 118 known basins. Knowing where and when to deviate from cookbook recipes and to use unconventional ingredients (tools) simplifies, speeds and greatly improves the process, reducing engineering time by up to 40% or more. Tools include: automated GIS apps, graduated basin sizing, linked-multiple-database queries, rainfall-related excessiveness criteria, mail-merge, cost libraries and rehab effectiveness predictions.Expert at combined sewer overflow monitoring, matching specific sensors to specific hydraulic phenomena and building sensor networks that can measure flows as accurately as possible. Have recently determined how to send reliable overflow-spill alarms with fewer than 2% false alarms.Objective is to harness, deploy and internally publicize technical innovations to deliver superior products and services to communities at costs well below the competition.
