Peter Kehoe is the Vice President of First Standard Construction. Working closely with Founder/CEO Damien Smith, Mr. Kehoe is responsible for overseeing the company’s day to day operations, including project acquisitions, project management teams, administrative office staff and client relations.Mr. Kehoe’s career in construction began in his native Ireland in 1996 as a carpenter and plasterer, having already served 4 years in the Irish Naval Service. In 2001, Mr. Kehoe moved to NYC and proceeded to work for various construction companies as a Project Manager over the next seven years. During that time, Mr. Kehoe managed gut renovations of rent controlled apartment units, free market apartment renovations and additions, focused remodels - such as kitchens or bathrooms, retail and commercial conversions and state funded projects on behalf of the not-for-profit sector.In 2011, Mr. Kehoe joined First Standard Construction, where he has served as a major part of the company’s growth and has been instrumental in the precise execution and magnificent workmanship that has become synonymous with First Standard Construction.Mr. Kehoe has a degree in Construction Management, at First Standard Construction, Mr. Kehoe has advanced the company ladder and held several positions, from Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, VP of Construction and Chief Operating Officer.
