Global It Windows Services Manager
CurrentI started my career in Atmel as Asia Service Desk manager with a team size of 14 desktop support specialists. My team supports over 1500 computers across all offices in Asia.I was transitioned to Windows Server infrastructure as Global Windows Services Manager in 2015 due to my experience in infrastructure. I manage a team of 7 technical experts globally in driving improvement to 500 Windows servers and its related services such as Exchange, Enterprise Vault, Microsoft Skype on premise and NetBackup. My role is to manage, develop and inspire the team to deliver their best. These are my major accomplishments from both Windows Services and Client Technology:-• I have created vision and strategy to move Asia Service Desk up the value chain. • Led world-wide Microsoft Lync/Skype infrastructure on premise design and deployment. The scope of this project covers IM, data conferencing, audio conference and replacing Cisco enterprise voice with Lync.• Led Asia Service Desk team to be the first region to complete Office 365 deployment to 2000+ laptops in Asia.• I have innovated workaround to enable LANDESK operating system provisioning module to work on sites with limited network bandwidth. This innovation enables speedy world-wide Windows 7 deployment.• Migrated 4000+ on premise exchange mailboxes to Office 365 exchange service.• I have led and completed Atmel Skype migration to Microchip organization.• I have led and completed the initiative to identify the right client asset management tool (LANDESK vs Desktop Central) to grow with Microchip.
