Peter is a versatile percussionist, drum set player, and music instructor. Currently residing in the Newark, Delaware area, he teaches private lessons at the University of Delaware Community Music School, plays drum set in two bands playing Brazilian music and Jazz, and teaches percussion and drum line to high school students. Recently Peter has toured with Delaware Steel in Vienna, Austria for a full week in April 2014. Also he toured with The University of Delaware Symphony Orchestra in Bogota, Columbia, and the University of Delaware Percussion Ensemble in Port of Spain, Trinidad. After graduating with a Master's of Music in Music Performance Percussion from the University of Delaware and receiving his Bachelor's of Arts at Ithaca College for Music Education and Performance, he hopes to establish himself as a performing and teaching artist in Delaware. Peter has a deep knowledge-base on dozens of instruments and in dozens of musical styles. Through his teaching he hopes to provide a methodical and full foundation for any musician to build off of and succeed with in all his or her future endeavors on both percussion and/or drum set.
