I am a Lecturer/Researcher of History, Governance and Conflict at the University of Eldoret. I served as Head/Chair, Department of Humanities(2021-2023).My research interests include themes on History, Political & Social sciences and how they impact on institutions and their governance processes. I am passionate about conflict analysis, Peacebuilding, refugee hosting, post-conflict state reconstruction and transitional justice. I am also keen on promoting linkages and collaboration between academics and practitioners in a bid to transform theory into practice, knowledge into action. Besides, I am an adjunct associate researcher and consultant with a Nairobi-based think-tank, the Global Centre for Policy and Strategy(GLOCEPS) and engaged part-time as a Subject Matter Expert(SME) at the International Peace Support Training Centre (IPSTC), a constituent college of the National Defence University-Kenya. I was the 2018-2019 VLIR-UOS Master scholar at the Institute of Development Policy(IoB) of University of Antwerp, Belgium.
