I am conducting research projects regarding biodiversity and the evolution of heteropteran insect groups, focusing on taxa of plant protection importance (predominantly beneficial) and suspected indicator role. In the course of these research activities a strong emphasis is given to the ongoing transitions in the composition of European entomofaunas and the morphological adaptations associated with environmental changes in light of both recent events and deeptime.
