Hello,As a current surveying diploma student at North Metropolitan TAFE, I have successfully completed Certificate III and IV last year. Currently working as a land survey assistant at Horizon Surveys on Wednesday and Friday casual working. Also having previously worked in a vacation program at a mining site under Ramelius Resources, I have acquired practical exposure to the surveying industry. Here’s why I believe I’d be a good fit: 1. I work well in teams and understand the importance of punctuality and professionalism.2. I’m eager to learn and have hands-on experience in both office and site environments.3. Knowledge of surveying and cadastral drawing in Magnet Office software.4. Knowledge of underground utility service locator.5. Physically, I’m up for the challenges of the survey assistant role. I already hold a white card, a valid ‘C’ Class driver’s license and a Police clearance. While I have undergone a previous screening test, I am open to undergoing screenings again if necessary. As an international student with a student Visa (500), I can work 48 hours during the semester and unlimited hours during breaks. Once I finish my Diploma of Surveying, I'll need a Training Visa(Subclass 407) Sponsorship to continue my professional development.
