I've enjoyed reading and writing from a young age, and I've found enjoyment in editing and proofreading. Maybe it's a part of my pedantic, autistic brain, but aside from simply enjoying the act of writing, the act of performing technical English work has always been something I enjoy and have become quite good at. The work I'm proficient at ranges from creative and professional writing (technical instructions, memos, reports, etc.) to proofreading and copy editing. I now have several years of experience doing these things, having spent five academic years studying English, Creative Writing, and Film & Media Studies and becoming proficient at the aforementioned work. I've conducted and transcribed interviews for the Slippery Rock University publication The Roxy, and I've proofread any copy edited dozens upon dozens of essays, short stories, memos, reports, grant proposals, cover letters, etc.It may be simplistic, but my current goal is to find a way to sustain myself while doing what I love and what I think that I am good at. Any sustainable work in any of the areas I'm proficient at is what I've got my eyes peeled for.
