    A vehicle’s Product Information Specialist acts as the Agency’s internal advisor who gathers global client and competitive vehicle product information, analyzes the marketable strengths and potential threats, and succinctly communicates the relevant findings to specific audiences, including creative and strategy for concept development and production for copy and imagery accuracy. Major Responsibilities: ▪ Develop working relationships with all clients, including Product Marketing/Brand/Communication Managers and Program Engineers in various regions, as sources of information and approvals▪ Proactively cultivate, maintain, and publish a library of comprehensive product information for assigned vehicles to be used in various downstream communication needs with emphasis on strategic alignment▪ Obtain and distribute all things product-related, including engineering details, feature functionality, mid-cycle change information, vehicle segmentation, reference photography and color/material samples▪ Actively participate in creating the agency’s Virtual Garage by gathering and validating materials to assist production of Portable Data Models (PDMs)▪ Maintain, compile, verify, and assign product accurate metadata for agency DAM (Digital Asset Management) systems▪ Translate collected data into a comprehensive understanding of a vehicle’s marketable strengths and competitive weaknesses that can be understood by someone not familiar with the automotive industry▪ Work with Product Insights Manager and GTB Legal to research and provide substantiation for vehicle-to-vehicle competitive claims▪ reviews and validations of all Ford/Lincoln Division advertising and communications materials, including but not limited to copy and imagery for use in print, broadcast, digital and CRM▪ When necessary, ensure product-specific communications are submitted to Ford Engineering▪ Offer suggestions and recommendations to ensure continuous process improvement
