SPR Sport is the Sports Association for staff members of University of Groningen and Hanzehogeschool. The tennis section is associated with the KNLTB (Royal Dutch Lawn Tennis Association) and offers tennis training to its members and allows them to participate in the competition.

The foundation organizes an annual lecture in the field of the the natural sciences.
