Through its network of 250+ independent magazine wholesalers and wholly owned subsidiaries, DEYCO serviced, supplied and managed an assortment of over 2,500 consumer magazine titles, on behalf of 160+ publishers, to over 30,000 independent retailers. DEYCO also serviced several major specialty chains such as The Home Depot, Toys-R-Us, Childworld Toys, Grossman's Building Supplies, Game Stop, etc.The company generated annual revenues exceeding $100MM and had a staff of 60 full time employees. The company was sold to a Wall Street Investment firm in 1999 and Larson became its largest single shareholder. Shortly thereafter, DEYCO acquired International Periodical Distributors (I.P.D.), which was the largest supplier of magazines to bookstore chains.
