I started work at Cowra Veterinary Centre after graduation. It is a rural mixed practice so we treat all species - dogs, cats, wildlife, cows, sheep, horses, alpacas, goats etc. Our caseload is approximately 2/3 small/companion animals and 1/3 large/production animals.Our small/companion animal services include vaccinations, desexings, soft tissue surgery, dentals, X-rays and ultrasounds. We offer a large range of pet food and parasite prevention products.Our large/production animal services include calvings, pregnancy testing, disease investigation, bull testing, wound repair, colics and lameness. I am accredited for ovine brucellosis testing and certification.We offer a 24 hour emergency service. We offer referral to specialists in Sydney, Canberra or Wagga for difficult cases or where specialist surgery is required.I bought the practice in July 2011 and now employ six veterinarians and eight veterinary nurses/receptionists.Our website is www.cowravet.com.au
